So why exactly are people fearful that the forecasted acceleration of cleantech and renewables is threatened by fluctuating oil prices? Perhaps it's because we don't have our facts straight, or maybe we are being informed by powerful energy incumbents who would just as soon see us remain in the fossil-fueled status quo.
