Everyday those living near or in big cities throughout the world can see and suffer from the effects of smog. But imagine being able to remove some of that smog and then turn it into beautiful jewellery? That is exactly what Dutch inventor Daan Roosegaarde has done with his 7 meter tall air purifying tower.
Mr. Roosegaarde is founder of Studio Roosegaarde which creates interactive designs that explore the dynamic relation between people, technology and space through unique innovations. In 2014 he opened the Van Gogh-Roosegaarde cycle path, which runs between Nuenen and Eindhoven. The highway is made of thousands twinkling stones inspired by The Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. The project is part of Smart Highway, creating interactive and sustainable roads of tomorrow with Heijmans infrastructure.
